The surface area of the triangular prism is 144 ft³

How to find the surface area

The surface area of the prism is solved using the formula

= 2 * area of the base + Lateral surface area

Area of the base

= 2 * 1/2 * 6 * 8

= 48

Lateral surface area

= (10 + 6 + 8) * 4

= 24 * 4

= 96

Total surface area

= 48 + 96

= 144 ft³

Area of the base = 1/2 x 6 x 8 = 24 ft²

Perimeter of the base = 6 + 8 + 10 = 24 ft

Surface area = 24 + 24 + 24(4) = 144 ft²

Answer: 144 ft²
