The area of the square and rectangle are equal. If the side of the square is 40 cm, and the breadth (width) of the rectangle is 25 cm, find the length and perimeter of the rectangle.

Area of square is length times width. Which are the same due to the laws of it being a square. So 40x40 = 1600cm^2. The area of a rectangle is width times height. We know the area is 1600cm so we know that 1600/25= height (64cm). If there are two equal parallel lines on a rectangle then 25 + 25 + 64 + 64 = perimeter (178cm).
