Hi there! The answer is x = 59°

"The interior angles formed by the sides of a quadrilateral have measures that sum to 360°." This means that the sum of the four angles (which are represented by x) adds up to 360.

x + x + (2x + 3) + (2x + 3) = 360
Work out the parenthesis.

x + x + 2x + 3 + 2x + 3 = 360
Collect the terms.

6x + 6 = 360
Subtract 6 from both sides.

6x = 354
Divide both sides by 6.

x = (354)/(6) = 59
Therefore, the value of x = 59°.

Opposite interior angles have to equal 180*, so.

3x + 3 = 180 3x = 177 177 / 3 = 59. x = 59
