The two expressions given are:

y(2.5+7)+y-2 and
10.5y-2

The first expression can be simplified to be:

y(2.5+7)+y-2=9.5y+y-2=10.5y-2

As we can see, simplifying the first expression gives us the second expression and thus we can see that both the expressions are equal and they will remain equal for any value of y.

Thus, out of the given options, Option A is the correct one. That is, "the expressions have the same value for any value of y".
