They would be a lot closer together with the mountain side and pretty widely spaced out on a plateau because in topography, contour lines show changes in elevation.

Answer:

Closely spaced and far spaced.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • The contour lines show the counter intervals on the topo map which also highlights the spaces between these two features as the closely spaced are toe formed by a high mountainous barrier and a rugged terrain and those of the far or distantly spaced are represented by the plateau or a low land and where the contour is very far that indicates low lands.
  • Hence the lies are in direct relation to the physical areas and the feature of the world. These contour lines are also called as an intermediate, index and the supplementary lines.
  • As a rule, the contour line doesn't cross of intermix each except fo a cliff. ad the dark color line is represented by a high terrain or high elevated area, rather than the flat and thin lines.
