we have that

for x=1
f(x)=1.5 and g(x)=-1
so
g(x) < f(x)

for x=2
f(x)=5 and g(x)=5
so
g(x)= f(x)

for x=3
f(x)=9.5 and g(x)=23
so
g(x) > f(x)

therefore

the answer is
After x=2 function g exceeds function f
