The answer is optimist. This is somebody who dependably observes the splendid side of any circumstance — a characteristic that can be either promising or irritating, contingent upon your outlook. The self assured person sees an awful occasion, for example, a request that falls through or a business call that flops, as an impermanent occasion, something that is constrained in time and that has no genuine effect on what's to come. The pessimist, then again, sees negative occasions as lasting, as a major aspect of life and predetermination.
