Heya folk

let six cards numbered from 1 - 6

is , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6

then Drawing of 2 , n = 1

But , Total number of cards , m = 6

so ,

probability \: (e) = (n)/(m) \\ \\ = > probability \: (2) = (1)/(6)
And Number of even number over here are -

2 , 4 , 6

so , P ( Even number ) = 3 / 6 = 1/2 = 0.5

now it is also that the probability of 2 and then even number so ,

1/6 × 2/5 = 1/15

Hope this helps you ☺

Total Number of cards in the beginning = 6
Probability of drawing a card with 2 written on it = 1/6

This card is not placed back and now we have the cards 1,3,4,5 and 6.
So total number of cards = 5
Number of even cards = 2
Probability of picking an even card = 2/5

Probability of drawing a 2 and then a even number = 1/6 x 2/5 = 1/15
