“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”(John 14:6) Jesus is the only way to God. Titus 3:4-7 says, “But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Jesus connects us to God, we are NOT the ones who need to accept Jesus. Jesus is the one who accepts us through baptism. Furthermore, a person becomes a Christian when they are baptized. With this in mind know that no one needs Jesus unless they know that they are a sinner. You need Jesus because you are a sinner. Sinners can’t pay the price for their sins by themselves. We can’t redeem ourselves that is why we need a redeemer. We are saved by what Christ does for us.
