a² + b² = c²
15² + x² = 18²
x² = 18² - 15²
x² = 99
x = √99
x = 9.9 units (nearest tenth)
Answer: x = 9.9 (Answer a)

Option A is your answer, 9.9
x² + 15² = 18²
x² + 225 = 324
x² = 99
x = √99
x = 3√11
x ≈ 9.9499 or to the nearest tenth x ≈ 9.9
