The longest side is opposite of the right angle.
b^2+c^2=a^2
8^2+5^2=a^2
64+25=square root 89

8^2 + 5^2 = 64+25 = 89 = square root 89
I don't have a calculator on me lol.
that specific side opposite the right angle is always the longest angle
a^2+b^2=c^2
