The answer would be

y = 4x -14

y +2 = 4(x-3)

y+2 = 4x -12

y = 4x -12 -2

y = 4x -14 (slope intercept form)

slope intercept form: y = mx + b

first distribute the 4 to both x and -3
4(x) = 4x
4(-3) = -12

y + 2 = 4x - 12

subtract 2 from both sides to isolate the y

y + 2 (-2) = 4x - 12 (-2)

y = 4x - 14

y = 4x - 14 is your answer

hope this helps
