When trying to find the probability of drawing a violet marble from a jar containing 9 red, 4 brown, 10 yellow, and 8 violet marbles, how many desired outcomes are there? Solution: We need to find the probability of drawing a voilet marble when there are 8 voilet marbles. Drawing any of thr voilet marble will be a favourable or desired outcome. As, there are 8 violet marbles and getting any of the voilet marble is a desired outcome . So, the desired outcomes are 8. Probability is desired outcome /total outcome. There are 8 voilet marbles and there are 31 marvels. So probability of getting a voilet marble=8/31 Answer:desired oucomes=8

There are 8 possible desired outcomes.

This would be represented as a probability of 8/31.
