1.On Sunday morning, Mrs. Turner made 2 gallons of juice. How many cups of juice did she make?

2. Later that night, her family drank 16 cups of the juice she made. How many points of juice remain?

1) Mrs. Turner made 32 cups of juice. Each gallon contains 16 cups. Therefore, just multiply 16 by 2.

2) There would be 8 pints of juice remaining. If they drank 16 cups, they drank 1 gallon leaving 1 gallon. In a gallon, there are 8 pints.
