Tsar Nicholas ii made several mistakes, but perhaps the worst of these mistakes was letting the public know that he was controlled by the whims and advice of his Germanic wife. worse still, his wife secured the appointment of his monk to a great position of power, despite his lack of qualification, to act as the kings advisor. this trio of ineptitude was seemingly blamed for any failure that rocked Russia.
