A bunch of bananas cost $4, a pineapple cost $2 more than a bunch of bananas, and 4 apples cost one-half of a pineapple.1. Write an equation that shows the cost of a pineapple (p) in terms of bananas (b). Use this equation to find the cost of a pineapple. 2. Write an equation that shows the cost of 4 apples (a) in terms of a pineapple (p). Use this equation to find the cost of 4 apples. 3. 1. b+2=p. 4+2=p. 6=p.
2. p/2=a. 6/2=a. 3=a
3. b-a=x. 4-3=x. 1=x
I'm in HS but this seems like it is the answer. If you need more explanation ask.
