Explanation:

1) a composite function is a function inside of a function where you first must look at the inside function before the outside function

2) the inside function we must first look at is f(-7) and visually compare the function to the y = f(x) graph where x = -7

3) where is x = -7 is when y = -3 so than stated in the rules of composite functions, the function then becomes replaced with the y-value

4) the function then becomes g(-3) and one must look at the y = g(x) function and g(-3) = -6
