How can I improve my grammar in the essay?
I remember that Christmas so clearly that it's scary, I was only six years old, after a long time playing with my cousins, the most anticipated time for all of us arrived, Santa had arrived, when he reached the little tree there were a lot of gifts around him but just that gift that had red with green stripes in front was mine, I opened it quickly ripping each piece of the wrapper and in front of me I found an art pack which included paints and a blank canvas. I can still hear the scolding of my mother, upset because she had the whole house full of paint, you could say that at that moment my love for art began, although I always say that I was born with it.
Art accompanied me for much of my childhood until I started with sports, I deviated a bit from art since the sports I practiced entertained me a lot since I spent it with my friends. Until in sixth grade there was a new art teacher, I remember that her name was margarita like the flower and I could say that she radiated her joy like one, she was so passionate about her work that her passion for art infected me, every time she talked about the history of art, she entertained us by telling us an anecdote about her experiences with art, which made the class more fun. I also remember that she encouraged us to participate in various art contests that the school held.
Over the years I had to have an extracurricular class and since I had practiced most sports I decided to try to play an instrument, I spent days thinking about which instrument to choose until one day watching a movie which I honestly don't remember its name, a boy My age, he played a piano and it caught my attention, so I decided to play the piano so that, according to me, at that time I played the piano just like the boy in the movie. This saw me to see a different side of art as I always thought it was drawing and painting, but art is not everywhere in your daily life you can go down the street humming and it can be considered as making art or just doing doodles on a sheet of paper that may not have meant anything to you, but in someone else's eyes is a work of art. In my piano class I learned a lot about the history of music and about various renowned musicians.
It could be said that each of these anecdotes in my life and several more that I will not tell because it would make a very long story, made me the person I am today, since today at 22 years of age I am about to finish my major in art to then continue and get my bachelor's degree in graphic design, I think that at this point I don't know where I would be if art wasn't known the way I knew it, maybe I would be studying veterinary medicine and exercising that career as I said when I was little; or maybe I was frustrated in a career that I didn't like and I would only be doing it to get a degree, however I am grateful for all the experiences that I have lived that have brought me to this point in my life, happy and about to work based on a passion.
