The mean and standard deviation of the sample will be given by:
standard deviation=σ/√n
σ=24
n=64
thus
standard deviation of the sample will be:
24/√64
=24/8
=3
mean
the mean will be:
μ+/-3
μ=85
thus the mean will be:
85+/-3
=82 or 88
