Cell membrane functions as a semi- permanent membrane which allows the transport of materials in and out of the cell required for cell metabolism. Chloroplast is the organelle which contains pigment chlorophyll, captures sunlight and conduct photosynthesis. Lysosome are membrane bound organelles, they are present in plant cells but not in leaf cells. Their function is digestion of cellular components and remove out waste from the plant and animal body. As, leaf is the photosynthesis region main function is synthesis of food not the absorption. The food prepared by leaves are send to other parts of plants. Therefore, leaf does not require lysosome.
