Answer

when a space shuttle traveled through outer space that time it is far away from the gravity of any planet, star or moon. It means gravitational force acting on the space shuttle is zero(g=0)

We know that weight of space shuttle=
m* g

here m- mass of space shuttle

and g=gravity

but gravity in outer space= 0

therefore,

weight of space shuttle in outer space=0
