Medgar Evers was assassinated by a white supremacist. Evers fought for his country and was discriminated for his skin color. He became apart of the NAACP and worked to dismantle segregation. Because of Evers work he got many death threats and many people tried to kill him before his eventual death at 37 in 1963.
