World War 2 caused the postwar boom and extrme expansion and economic prosperity of many natons in the following decades. It, however, also caused major destruction and devastation of many countries which weren't as lucky. An example of a country which had great gains in the postwar period is the US for example. it most definitely increased wages
Fun fact: ww2 pulled the U.S and other countries out of the great depression too
