V=1/3 Bh

1024 = 1/3 (L^2)h

1024 = 1/3 (L^2) * 12

(multiply 1/3 by 12)

1024 / 4 = 4 * L^2 / 4

256 = S^2

square root 256 and L^2

16 = length

Let 's x the length of the pyramid:
V=x²*h/3
V=1024 and h=12
So x²*12/3=1024
==>x²=1024*3/12
==>x²=256
==>x²=16²
==> x=16 for (x=-16 must be exclude <0)
