The length of the cake pan given = 9 inch

The width of the cake pan = 11 inch

the height of the cake pan = 2 inch.

Given, after pouring the batter to the cake pan there is 1 inch gap between the top of the batter and the top of the pan.

We are given the height of the pan is 2 inch. As given there is 1 inch gap between top of the batter and the top of the pan,

the height of the cake batter =
(2-1) inch = 1 inch.

Now the length and width of the cake batter is same as the cake pan.

The formula to find the volume of the cake batter = length×width×height

So, the required volume =
(9)(11)(1) =
99 inch^3

We have got the required answer. The volume of the cake batter is
99 inch^3.
