If the mass of a material is 125 grams and the volume of the material is 24 cm3, what would the density of the material be?

The equation for density goes as follows:

D= (m)/(v)
where D stands for density, m stands for mass, and v stands for volume

You plug in your values, and you get...

D= (125)/(24)

which turns out to be

D=5.21 g/cm^3
