Rewrite each statement as an algebraic expression

1) 5 less than a number is 4 more than the product of the number and 12.

2) one number is 2 more than 3 times another number. If the sum of the two numbers is 6, what are the two numbers?

3) The length of the garden is 2 feet more than its width. If the perimeter of the garden is 396 feet, what are the dimensions of the garden?

1. n-5 = 4(12n)

2. n = 3n + 2 the numbers are 3

3. L = w + 2
