Line A is Purple dot

Line B is Blue dot

Line C is Red dot

Line D is Green dot

AB -9-(-10) / 4-8 = -4 your y2 is 4 your y1 is 8 / x2 is -9 x1 is -10

CD 9-12 / 2-(-5) your y2 is 9 your y1 is 12 / x2 is 2 x1 is -5
