8+11+12+15+20+34=100
potatoes+carrots=8+11=19

Percent of potatoes and carrots is 19/100.

If we remember that a circle spans 360°, we can find out the measure of the angle for potatoes and carrots.

19 x

100 360

cross multiply

Potatoes 8% and carrots 11%.
Combined, carrots and potatoes are 8% + 11% = 19%.
A full circle has 360 deg, so we need 19% of 360 deg.
19% of 360 deg = 19% * 360 deg = 0.19 * 360 deg = 68.4 deg

Answer: The central angle measures 68.4 deg.
