y = x - 7 ---------- (1)
5x + 2y = 7 ------ (2)
Sub (1) into (2):
5x + 2(x -7) = 7
5x + 2x - 14 = 7
7x - 14 = 7
7x = 7 + 14
7x = 21
x = 3 ----- -sub into (1)
y = x - 7
y = 3 - 7
y = -4
Ans: x = 3, y = -4
