What is: 2/3 X 5/6 X 14 =

this is so that i can help a 5th grader. and i am horrible at fractions. please show work and or explain how to do it. so that i can show her how to do it as well.,

sure. (2/3)=.667 and 5/6=.833. when you multiply them it should look like (.667) x (.833) x 14 which equals 7.778. i hope this helps.
