To find the area, you have to use the formula for the area of a trapezoid.
You start by add the bases (top and bottom). Then, multiply by the height and divide by 2.
The expression is:
0.5(2.9)(1.5 + 33)
0.5(2.9)(4.8) = 6.96
The area is 6.96 square inches.
