25 – 5x = 80
First we get rid of the 25 to do that we must minus by 25 (What we do to one side we do to the other)

So we are at -5x= 65

Next we divide by 5 (Because the five is being multiplied by x)

So we now have x = -11

25 - 5x = 80
+ 5x + 5x

25 = 5x + 80
- 80 -80

-55 = 5x

-55/5 = 11

x = 11

Hope I helped!
