The result of this study was: Subjects who were given misleading information after viewing the slides were far less accurate in their memories for the kind of sign present than were subjects who were given no such information.
This indicates that individuals have a high tendency to conform to other people opinion when shaping our own. If not, the result should've shown little to no change in their memories no matter how much differing information that we receive after that.
