To find the percentage of anything, just change the percentage number into a decimal. Here is an example.

Find 35% of 132.

Step 1: Change the percent (35%) into a decimal. // To do that, just put the percent sign two numbers to the left and change the percent sign to a decimal sign. (e.g. 35% turns into .35)

Step 2: Multiple your decimal and the other number together. // Just multiply them to get your answer. (e.g. .35 x 132 = ???)

.35 x 132 = 46.2

So, 35% of 132 is 46.2.
