Explain why this scenario points towards a potential problem with BIOS.

Situation: A computer powers on and boots up as it should, but the user is unable to enter his or logon credentials. When he or she tries to enter them using the keyboard, nothing happens.

Here the problem is that, the keyboard is not functioning properly. Here the booting is properly done. This problem points towards “BIOS” because, it is the responsibility of the “BIOS” to check for “input and output devices”. If there is any issue with it, it is the duty of BIOS to inform to the browser during the process of Booting.

So now the user has to troubleshoot the BIOS or call a system administrator to fix the issue. Even here, power supply might not be received by the keyboard.
