−4.2y + 2.1 > −2.52
First, treat the > like an =
−4.2y + 2.1-2.1 > −2.52-2.1
-4.2y > -4.62
-4.2y/-4.2 > -4.62/-4.2
* whenever you divide by a (-), flip the symbol:
y < 1.1
