√mn = m^1/2 * n^1/2
Step-by-step explanation:
1- square root means that the number is raised to the power 1/2.
Therefore:
√mn = (mn)^1/2
2- When we have a bracket containing two numbers multiplied by each other, and the whole bracket is raised to a certain power, then each number within the bracket would be raised to this same power.
This means that:
(mn)^1/2 = m^1/2 * n^1/2
