There are 4 half inch crystals. So the combined length would be 2 inches.
1/2 +1/2+1/2+1/2 = (since the bottoms are the same just add the tops) 4/2.
4/2 = 2.

There are 3 5/8 inch crystals. So the combined length would be 15/8 (or 1.875 or 1+7/8)
Same here, 5/8 +5/8 + 5/8 = 15/8.

The length of all the crystals together would be 29/4 (or 7.25 or 7+1/4)
Here, just find a common denominator. In this case it would be four. Then, just multiply or divide the top number by whatever you did to the bottom one.

The average length is: 29/52 (or 0.557)
Divide 29/52 by 13. (to find an average, add all the number and divide it by the amount of number you added.
