Caribbean and Scotia plates similarities:

  • The similarities between the Caribbean and Scotia is that they are both smaller and are similar in size. They also don't enclose a large area of land due to their size.
  • The popular rock found on both of them is mafic igneous rocks which have high amount of magnesium and ferric oxides.
  • The Caribbean plate is around 3.2 million square Km and Scotia plate is 2.4 million square Km.
