They are both relatively small for plates, they do not encompass large land masses, they are both encompass mafic rock

Caribbean and Scotia plates similarities:
The similarities between the Caribbean and Scotia is that they are both
smaller
and are
similar
in size. They also
don't enclose a large area
of land due to their size.
The popular rock found on both of them is
mafic igneous rocks
which have high amount of
magnesium and ferric oxides
.
The Caribbean plate is around
3.2 million square Km
and Scotia plate is
2.4 million square Km
.
