The total resistance for resistors in series is the sum of the individual resistances.

The total resistance is 650 ohm + 350 ohm + 1000 ohm = 2000 ohm

Explaination :

As we know that total resistance in a series circuit is calculated by the formula :

  • Rs = R1 + R2 + R3 ... Rn

Here,

  • R is resistance

We have :

  • R1 = 350Ω
  • R2 = 650Ω
  • R3 = 1000Ω

Substituting the values :

=> Rs = 650 + 350 + 1000

=> Rs = 1650 + 350

=> Rs = 2000Ω

Therefore,

  • Resistance in series is of 2000Ω
