The answer to your question is x=2
3(-2x+5)=3 (distribute 3)
-6x+15=3 (Subtract 15 from both sides of the equation)
-15 -15
-6x=-12 (divide both sides by -6)
x=2 (BOOM there's your answer to the equation)
