For this case we have the following:
x = 0 (January)
x = 1 (February)
x = 2 (March)
Evaluating x = 2:
f (x) = 12.2 * cos (π * x ^ 6) +54.9
f (2) = 12.2 * cos (π * (2) ^ 6) +54.9
f (2) = 67.1
Answer:
the average daily maximum temperature in March is 67.1 ° F
