Many people relate protein to health and fitness. How much protein do we really need?

The recommended dietary allowance, which is the minimum amount you need to be healthy, is 0.8 grams per kilogram of body weight per day - 46 grams for like, and average women.. That equals as little as 10% of daily calories.
