3 x 10 x 2 + 6 x 10 x 2 + 3 x 6 x 2 =

60 + 120 + 36 = 216 square centimeters

Find the area of each area. Or you can multiply 10 by 18 to get 180. That’s the 4 boxes in the middle. 3 x 6=18. This is the box on the top. The box on the bottom is the same so multiply 18 by 2 to get 36. 36+180=216cm2.
