its d) 3/2
we know that product of slope of line and its perpendicular line is -1
so, slop of line=y2-y1 / x2-x1
= -2/3
so slope of perpendicular is 3/2

Answer: 3/2

Remember: RISE/RUN (y/x). Perpendicular lines have slopes that are opposite and reciprocal to the original line.

Find the slope of the original line. You can do it in two ways:

1. Useful if the line is graphed: count the units between 2 points of the line.
(3, 0) on the graph is 2 lower than (0, 2) and 3 to the right of (0, 2). Therefore, the slope is -2/3.

2. Useful if the line is not graphed: the difference of the y coordinate values divided by the difference of the x coordinate value.
2 - 0 2
---------- = - ------ Therefore, the slope is -2/3.
0 - 3 3

Find the opposite reciprocal of -2/3, the slope of the original line.
-2/3 --> 3/2

The slope of the perpendicular line is 3/2.
