Okay, so:

10+5d -4= 13.50

10= the pizza, 5d is the number of drinks, and 4 is the certificate.

Solve.

Add 4 to both sides.

10+5d= 17.50

Subtract 10 on both sides.

5d=7.50

Divide by 5.

d= 1.5

The cost of one large drink is $1.50.
