Area of the kite = 36 cm^2

Explanation:

Area of a kite = 1/2 *d1*d2. where d1 and d2 are the diagonals.

Given: d1 = 6 and d2 = 12

Plug in these given values in the above formula, we get

Area of the kite = 1/2 * 6*12

= 3*12

Area of the kite = 36 cm^2
