Answer:

Most common inheritance pattern are Autosomal dominant, Autosomal recessive, X-linked dominant and X-linked recessive.

Explanation:

Genotype constitutes the genetic make-up of the cell. it is the set of genes in our DNA, which is responsible for particular traits.

Most common inheritance pattern are Autosomal dominant(examples are: Huntington disease), Autosomal recessive(examples are: Sickle cell anemia and Cystic fibrosis), X-linked dominant(examples are: Fragile X syndrome), and X-linked recessive(examples are: Hemophilia).

Dominant inheritance means an abnormal gene from parent can cause the disease. On the other hand recessive inherits two mutated genes that is one is carrier and other is affected, which can cause disease.

Genotype is the genetic composition of an organism. Alleles are the alternative forms of a gene, they can either be dominant alleles (masks the other allele) or recessive alleles (masked by the dominant allele when present). Autosomal dominant and the autosomal recessive are the most common inheritance patterns.
